random thoughts. so just bear with me for a little while.

have you all wondered the real real meaning behind the people that appeared in your life? people in my life come and go. but most of time stayed on throughout all these years. i had my fair share of bad friendships and relationships. but come to think of it, i think some of them are valuable lessons and some of them are treasured memories that belongs to me and that person.

im a slave. i slog so hard everyday just to wait for payday and use the money to (1) PAY BILLS, (2) MAHJONG, (3) SHOPPING, (4) DRINKING, (5) TRAVEL TO MALAYSIA FOR SEAFOOD, (6) BIRTHDAY PRESENTS, and lastly (7) MONTHLY HOUSEHOLD ALLOWANCE. and in the midst of paying for all these, i am still sloggging very hard just to repeat this whole cycle again for the next month, and the next next month and the next next next month. TMD! fucking sad life.

finally the long awaited public holiday is happening this week!but before that, i have tons to complete at work tomorrow! IT'S OK! work keeps me busy, this would also mean that monday would be over very very soon! REJOICE!

回想起在读finance的时候。真的好想放弃或哭闹。

taiwan trip day 4 and 5!!

maybe i would be much happier blogging about happy times.

my second favourite drink in taiwan. damn! should have bought more back to singapore. its just green tea. but then its very shiok. ok. maybe it made me feel better after eating oily food in taiwan.

cant really remember where the hell did we went on the 4th day morning. i know we went to some dragon and tiger thingy. hahaha. and not long after, we set off to our next destination. lunch!

a very special restuarant which serves very delicious food. the kimchi chicken and the prawn biscuit. steam!

one of the best muah chee i've eaten in taiwan. the ones in jiu fen or chinatown cannot fight sia. but i kinda of regret saying that the muah chee was good. my auntie bought 2 boxes (12 pieces) back. and i have no choice but to help finish it within that day. :(

after lunch, we travelled for another 2 hours or so to jan fu shan. a very boring theme park. the only people that i saw in the theme park were my tour group people. and it doesnt help that there was a heavy downpour before that.

we travelled back to taipei after having our breakfast at the hotel. and then we reached miramar shopping centre. actually damn useless lo. their stuff there damn bloody expensive.

it simply means 'for shit', 'for urine'.

after miramar, we went to one of taiwan's most famous temple. it was vesak day that day. but it was not a public holiday in taiwan. but then the temple was very very packed.

yes. i know i should follow what this thing asked me to.

dinner was at this restuarant which serves or cater to wedding dinners only. the soup damn bloody shiok! ahh! im hungry!!

taiwan trip day 3!

whee! actually day three nothing much. cause we spent most of the time travelling to kaoshiung.
i love the hotel for that night. (yes. i was in taiwan for 6 nights and i changed 6 hotels.) cause the room can fit 3 queen size bed and two toilets. and from what i heard, we were the only ones who had this kind of room.

after breakfast, we made our way to taroko.

i didnt know taiwan has such beautiful scenery. but its a pity that we can go deeper into the mountains. cause according to the tour guide, taiwan can experience an average of 3 earthquakes per day. but most of the time, the earthquakes are unnoticable. well, its better to be safe than sorry right?

for the third time im saying this. the weather is siao.

after taroko, we went to some jade factory. the procedure damn standard one. we'll see down in a room and listen to the person talk. after his/her talk, an army of staff would swarm towards us and ask us to look around or buy their products. damn scary i tell u. i almost snapped at one auntie for being too persistent.
after lunch, we headed down to kaoshiung. its a freaking 5 hours ride. machiam go genting like that.

when i finally realised how to operate this emergency door, i'll be dead by then.

hungry and tired. duno leh. like no matter how much i slept on the bus, i'll still be fucking tired by the end of the day.

finally. kaoshiung more happening than hua lien. at least their streets were still bustling with life after 12 midnight.

dinner at liuho night market. ate alot and shopped alot. taiwanese they dont use msg, they use sugar. so basically all the food there were sweet instead of salty.

after dinner, we set off to our third hotel, kingdom hotel.

i spent SGD$30 in this watsons store. 1. wet tissues, 2. 4 cups of cup noodles, 3. 2 magazines, 4. bathing towel, 5. 2 boxes of mask and 6. one bottle of toner. wahahahaha! go there just buy only.

i very tired. good night!

taiwan trip day two!

woke up at 5.30am and was shocked to see that the sun was up and it was damn bloody sunny outside. freaking thought that we overslept.

the hotel room view was fantastic. in fact, the room itself was good too. the toilet still can let u bathe and view the scenery outside lo.

had breakfast at the hotel and off we went to see some funny rocks. i tell u! i damn sick of hotel breakfast now. u know how i miss bak chor mee, roti prata and chwee kueh when i was there? anyway, look at the beautiful scenery!

ok! i know my face damn round can??!?! ssshhhh!!!

and then off we went up hill to our next destination. jiu fen. is just walking up and down, up and down. well, if u think that sandy's place de traffic is sucidal, taiwan's traffic is even worst.

as u can see, the lanes are damn narrow and its very packed that day. but then u can hear like motorbikes zoom passed u or sound their horns at u while walking on the streets. cannot even bloody shop in peace. i was frantically fighting for space on the small ledge while waiting for my milk tea.

bleah! can u all feel my pain?

lunch at jiu fen was superb. the rice, the noodles and the soup! yummy yummy! but then have to bear with the stench from the smelly beancurd store next store.

i told you lunch was good. look at my mum! she looked so happy paying for the food.

after lunch, we headed down hill again to the train station. quite a disappointment man. i thought we can sit the 'gao tie' down to hua lien. bloody hell. but then quite an experience ah.

see! the trade-off. the scenery so nice!

without this pocari sweat, i'll be dehydrated in taiwan! the weather is siao i tell u.

5 hours later, we reached hua lien. taiwan damn funny one. they have deserted houses everywhere and u dont see their people roaming around the streets.

had dinner and went down to buy some fruits and off we go to watch the ami cultural dance.

wasting time only. i think the only excitement was to see men in g-strings dancing some hunting dance. hahahaha!!

checked into the hotel and we head out to buy some cup noodles and yakult. their 7-11 damn power. they sell anything and everything under the sun.

my favourite drink. green tea yakult. damn big sia.

taiwan trip day one

due to popular demand, i shall blog about my taiwan trip!
stupid SQ. the flight damn bloody early sia. we have to checked in at 6am! WTH! but overall ok ah. because its been two years since i last sat on a plane. seriously, and i dont mind paying more for SQ flights. within four hours, i watched wild hogs, 3 episodes of everybody loves raymond and 3 rounds of mahjong. shiok!

trust me. the noodles was delicious but the stewardess was ugly. the singapore standard drop already.

four hours later, i was in taiwan! this restuarant is something like our seoul garden and its so much cheaper. but then! the variety of food is limited and its not fresh at all.

the toilet sign very cute. oh. and taiwan toilet bowl very funny one. you cannot throw ur dirty tissue paper into the bowl.

first stop. dan shui qing ren qiao. according to the tour guide, he said that this is one of the most popular places to take wedding photo.

next stop, dan shui lao jie. nothing much. is just food, people, dogs and more food.

taiwanese love dogs. at dan shui alone, we saw this two dogs, three chiwawas, three baby husky and two jack russell. in singapore where u can find sporeans bring their dogs out to pasar malam one?

almost all their starbucks, McDonalds and KFC are two storeys.

erm. a very long row of motorcycles. the ladies damn zai. i saw this lady wearing a tube, hot pants and high heels riding a bike.

their sanitary pads' packaging damn chio.

last stop of the day! shihlin night market. the XXL crispy chicken is so much bigger and nicer than what is sold in singapore.

check out the queue. damn systematic lo. one uncle will go around giving out plastic bags and then the auntie in front will just grab pieces of chicken and chuck it into ur plastic bag.

delicious food! all the food there are either fried, grilled or super oily.
